Family day to day life can take a toll on a person, especially us moms. I am getting away for the weekend and camping with my man. Ha, I am so not the camper, but getting away from the 'normal' to nature, sounds very appealing to me. To slow down. To take a break from the home. To not have to to 'plan' who is going where.
I get to BREATHE, read a book, be a part of nature, listen to the birds, and BE. I do not get too many opportunities (or none at all) to get away with my (outdoorsy) husband and rough it.
I am going to look around our campsite and see if I can identify some flowers and plants that I get my essential oils from. I'll take pictures of my view and share it here with you.
My health continues to be a roller coaster that I want to get off, but at the same time there is a lot of joy in my surroundings. Don't stop seeing what is around you. Embrace your situations, your family, friends, children, ups and downs. Life will happen no matter what, its what you do with it that makes the DIFFERENCE! Have a wonderful weekend.

Migraines has many triggers. Mine can be triggered by what I eat and/or my autoimmune disease (lupus), IBS, and lack of exercise. There are many other triggers: stress, sensory stimuli (perfumes, smoke, strong smells), sleep, and/or medications. It is very hard to pinpoint when it will begin. Start a journal and take notes on how you feel each day and when a headache starts and then when it turns into a migraine. Talk to a doctor or a nutritionist for additional help.
Believe me, I have tried many things to get my migraines under control. I may just need a new eye prescription. For now, I did find a way to take the "pressure" off.
I put one drop of rosemary, frankincense, and tea tree essential oils in a hot cup of water. I used a towel to put over my head to be able to deeply inhale the therapeutic properties of the oils. I stayed under for about 10 minutes. I also put 2 drops of each oil in my diffuser for additional help. It does take a little trial and error to find what works for you.
